About Our Parish

Immaculate Conception Church is a dynamic, welcoming, multicultural, Catholic community of believers, who work together honoring and serving the Lord through our gifts, talents and abilities. We are challenged by our baptismal call and nourished by the Eucharist to bring the good news of Christ to all.

Immaculate Conception is the oldest standing Catholic Church in Seattle. Founded by the Jesuit Fathers, the Church was built in 1904 and declared a Historical Landmark by the Seattle Landmarks Preservation Board in 1974.

Today the parish, led by Rev. Richard "Woody" McCallister, Pastor, is a rich, diverse and vibrant community of worshippers from all ethnic backgrounds and histories. Immaculate Conception Church continues its long and proud history in Seattle and plays an important role in the growth of the Archdiocese.
